Volunteers Needed!

Finishing up your college and not sure how you want to help the world? Right now Our Little Roses Ministries is recruiting, both men and women, to come to Honduras and be a part of these special girls lives. We are in need of volunteer teachers for the Holy Family Bilingual and co-ed school., and staff helpers for both Our Little Roses (school age girls) and St. Mark 10:14 (infants and toddlers).

The positions are as volunteers, however while there is no salary there a stipend and lodging and some meals are provided. g with boys and girls in the bilingual school  and therefore do not carry a salary, but often times OLR is able to provide either room or board. We encourage volunteers to come for at least 9 months, but shorter mission of as little as 3 months are acceptable.

Group Missions

One of the most important parts of the girls lives at Our Little Roses are the short-term missionary groups that come from the US to be part of their lives. These groups act as the girls extended family. While at the same time, these groups are able to help Our Little Roses as a organization by helping to maintain our facilities. These missions are also equally important to the people that participate in them, often changing ones view point on the world, and creating special relationships with these wonderful girls.

Our Little Roses understands how hard its to plan a trip to a foriegn nation and because of this understanding we are more then willing to help you plan your trip. We can help you make your hotel reservations, solve transportation issues, and help to plan how you can be most effective in your mission.

In order to help off set the cost of these missions Our Little Roses runs a bed and breakfast that can sleep up 40 people in 4 apartments centered around a common living room. These apartments are all air conditioned, and the common room even has cable TV. There are three private bathrooms all with hot and cold running water. Breakfast included in the price of $12.00 per person per night, and other meals can be provided upon request for an extra charge. We also can rent you a 28 passenger air conditioned bus, with a driver. This often times helps groups be more flexible in their planning and in action.
